We recently published an article discussing the Fair Work Commission’s (FWC) decision for the Annual Wage Review 2023-24.
The outcome of the review is a 3.75% increase to the National Minimum Wage and all modern award minimum wage rates with effect from 1 July 2024.
The Fair Work Ombudsman has now published updated pay guides reflecting the new award rates.
These minimum pay rates apply for the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2024.
We encourage employers to review the new pay guides and to make adjustments where necessary to ensure that employees are paid compliantly.
